This is why

Last month, I made Tiffany a pile of peas.
Since I had a little bit of pea colored clay left over, I decided to make myself some, too.

"This is silly," I thought, as I rolled up one little pea after another. "I am never going to need a pile of peas."

Still, I persisted. After all, it never hurts to have extras.

Today, Kylee Parks posted a picture of her brand new 1:9 scale trash can on Facebook. She asked for performance ideas, and Jennifer Scott brought me into the conversation.
I provided a picture, and then things took a weird turn.
One thing led to another, and this happened.
The response was magical.
So was Sandra's next request.
This is why I always make extras! I really did need that pile of peas!
P.S. This is also why today's judging post hasn't made it past the draft stage. Tomorrow I promise to spend less time on raccoon pictures and more time on writing.

  1. Jennifer! Where did you find this little raccoon (aka Trash Panda)!? Don't know what I'd ever do with it but just love 'em!

    1. I've had him a really long time, and I don't remember exactly where I got him. I kind of have a life policy of buying 1:9 scale things, whether I need them or not. I figure if I have them, eventually I will need them. Like today. Today I really needed this raccoon.

    2. He's by Safari Ltd and you can find them at Michael's, or on Amazon.

  2. this is why.....I need to make it so I see your posts on Facebook first.....

    1. Lol. I'm usually funnier on other people's posts.

    1. So I actually googled that to make sure I knew what Sandra was requesting. Here's the definition I used: consume (a canned drink) in one go by puncturing the can, putting one’s mouth over the resulting hole, and then opening the can by means of the ring pull to produce a rapid flow." Technically, Raccoon isn't doing it right, but I think it's close enough.
