Tiffany posted this picture on my Facebook page today. This is most, but not all, of the saddles I've made for her, arranged from oldest to newest.
Wow! That's a lot of tack! One of these days I'm going to take a similar picture of all my Purdy horses!

The oldest one looks very similar to the one I have!
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it? They're of the same vintage and were probably made from the same pattern.
DeleteFor the record, Tiffany bought that saddle secondhand. We didn't "meet" until 2006.
That's a lot of saddles!
ReplyDeleteI don't even have one! I would be just fine with one I think...

What a fabulous collection. This makes Tiffany a tack museum, right?
ReplyDeleteRemember--these are just Tiffany's BCS saddles. She has at this many and more saddles by other artists. Her tack collection is truly amazing!
DeleteAnd I believe it is a black-hole collection. Nothing ever finds its way out!
DeleteWhat? No pink?
ReplyDeleteThe pink is on the right end!
ReplyDeleteI need one of those saddles! I need to save up for one....you are taking commissions, right? ;P ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! How long did it take Tiffany to collect all is these saddles?!
ReplyDelete*of
DeleteWow, that's quite a collection. My favorite is the one on Scarlett's withers.
ReplyDeleteLove your collection tiff! Wish I had that many...
ReplyDeleteI was also surprised that this wasn't the typical Purdy pink explosion! ;) Lovely work as always.

ReplyDeleteim so with you Erica G.!!!! ~megan mankevich
ReplyDeleteand I bet those horses are like"dont you tell me we have to go riding like this"!! hahaha! ~megan mankevich
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see individual pictures of each one with their stories. Like what you traded
ReplyDeleteThe first two I made for Tiffany were a pony endurance saddle and a pony dressage saddle. In return, I got Zips Cocco Chip. Beyond that, however, my memory fails me. Nowadays we don't even keep track. Tiffany gets all the tack she "needs" and I get all the models I "need." It works for us!

ReplyDeleteI think I have 4 Braymere saddles (including my prize side saddle. Love it!!!) and some extra bridles and boots. Looking to add some more of course :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection. I wouldn't mind having one myself...as many of us would ;)
ReplyDeleteO.o The thought of how many collective hours it took to make all of these... woah.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous! And Jennifer I bet you don't own as many of your own saddles?
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I don't have nearly that many!
DeleteTalk about a collection of top quality saddles! Looks like 11 if I count right...I just need a third of that. Actually currently paying on two older ones made by you from another hobbiest. One more top quality english and I'm good.
