Darcy has gone ten hours without incident. She's spent that time hanging out with big sister Maggie,
playing quietly with chew toys,
and performing her neighborhood watch duties.
We still have a long way to go, but I'm feeling a lot more optimistic today.

Hope everything has continued to go well with Darcy!
ReplyDeleteDarcy has now gone 14 hours without seizing. That's after six seizures in 25 hours--a BIG improvement. I hope we can avoid the first thing in the morning seizure tomorrow, but even if we don't, I'm feeling so much more optimistic.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear things are looking up!
ReplyDeleteVery good news!!
ReplyDeleteGood to read about Darcys improvement!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Darcy is doing better. I hope you find out what's causing the seizures and that she makes the best and fullest recovery she can.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your dawggie.. : (
ReplyDeleteWe are now at 34 hours without seizures. It's obvious the medication is working well, so it's probably epilepsy rather than a toxin or a brain tumor. That means she will likely require medication for the rest of her life. Not ideal, but we can live with it. Darcy is worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for the support. It's been GREATLY appreciated!
That's marvelous news! There's not much more heart-wrenching than a pet with health problems.
ReplyDeleteMy cat just had to go on lysine for the rest of his life because he has feline herpes. That stuff's pricy, but I'd rather spend $30 a month than $2000 on surgery again and risk him dying from complications from his herpes.
Awesome that the meds are working! I do believe in better living through chemical means - hence Flick's Adequan shots!
