Today was the day. 

After so many months of planning, it was finally time to put the costume on Sage.

Some of it did not work.

That's okay.

Everyone knew who she was.

The eyes were perfect.

I'm so glad I didn't settle for letting the chestnut show through.

This was so much better.

I was pretty pleased with those socks, too!

We looked ridiculous in the best kind of way.

For our efforts, we were rewarded with a bag of horse treats and an apple candle.

I don't think Sage can not be trusted with a candle, but she definitely earned those treats.

Good job, bad hony!

Now to start brainstorming ideas for next year's costume!
