Hot diggety dog, part three

Earlier this month I finally finished my small-pet-turned-model-horse hot dog costume.

I didn't really love the way it turned out, but at that moment in time, I really needed a win. I decided it was good enough.

And it was... for almost two weeks.

Eventually, however, I decided it needed a second surcingle and a halter. Plus, the breastplate lining was all wrong. One thing led to another, and now the costume looks like this.

I like this so much better/.

Now I think it's really done.

And good/bad news: Karin has added a Halloween class to the Dog and Pony Show Ridiculous Performance line-up. This could use a Dachshund, but basically, it's ready to go.

Is ten days enough time to source a 1:9 scale wiener dog? Only time will tell!
