My older sister painted a horse during NaMoPaiMo this year.
I'm using the word "painted" very loosely here.
What she actually did, was cut the pages of a book - White Gloves and Party Manners - into strips...
and applied them to her model with glue.
I enjoyed everything about this.
Aww.
The model turned out great,
and Colleen's updates were hilarious.
Heh.
It was really fun sharing this part of my life with her.
Earlier this month, Miss Manners accompanied Colleen and Klaus to Altadena.
Then she hitched a ride to Colorado in my carry-on. Eventually, she's going to live - where else!? - on the bookcase, but right now she's hanging out with Baby Olive.
She joins Mindy's Hoka Hey, Ryan's Blue Mustang, James' Glitter Queen, Julie's Lights Out and my own Agatha, Maeve, Bubbles, Awesome Tribute, Annabel, Taco, Butterbean and Everything Bagel as one of my favorite collections within my collection: the NaMoPaiMo models.
Thanks, Colleen, for everything. My other sister says she's going to paint next year, too!

NaMoPaiMo puts the family in family. 'I think I see a pattern here.' You've started something.
