For the last three NaMoPaiMo's, Shauna McDaniel has signed to paint a model that doesn't yet exist. It worked in 2024, was a bust in 2025 and this year... Well, this year it happened on February 31. 

Here's the story of Eris, Shauna's studio logo, who was designed by Christine Jordan and sculpted - just this month! - by Heather Puleo. Congratulations, Shauna and friends, and thank you for another entertaining February!

NaMoPaiMo is all about overcoming: Hurdles, anxieties and the always exciting unforseen. When Eris  hit the mail on the 24th with an estimated delivery on the 26th, we knew we were cutting it close.

When she arrived in Calgary at 8 am the 26th I was sure we were golden to cruise right on through and have time to spare this year! BOY was I wrong! 

They managed to send it alllll over Calgary except any place I could actually get it.  The deadline passed on by and still no horse...

Then this Am.... With no notice it was even out for delivery... That she was.

She came in amazing shape and needed essentially no fill work so I glued in her tail brewed more coffee and declared it February 31st.

She was primed and ready by lunch. 

Then I dumped out a bad of Skittles and went for it. Here is the time lapse of her bright "oil slick" purple then onto rainbows and of course excess of Holo graphic glitter to be dramatically on brand!

Having Eris sitting here is living the "Don't follow us we do stupid things" life to its fullest!
