Snow way to go

This winter has barely felt like a winter at all.

While the other side of the country has been dealing with epic snow, it's been really warm and really dry here.

We've had a few dustings of snow here and there, but nothing worth photographing... until today!

Today, Mother Nature decided to dump an entire winter's worth of snow on us in one morning.

I grabbed my camera and let the dogs out.

They were as excited as I was!

Emma is mostly recovered from her injury last month. It was nice to see her moving well again.

After the dogs were done, it was Sage's turn.

She was wet when I arrived and promptly made herself even more wet after I turned her out.

Zoomies!

So many zoomies!

She was absolutely on fire today.

Ready to go to war with that barrel.

Heh.

I would be happy to spend all day playing in the snow with my animals. Unfortunately, I've got a flight to catch, assuming, of course, it doesn't get cancelled.

I've waited all winter for this snow, but why oh why did it have to come today?
