Today's prompt for the Yuletide Cheer Photo Chaos Challenge is Evergreen.
There are several ways this can be interpreted, the most obvious of which is a green model.
Other possibilities include a horse in green tack...
or a model literally among the evergreens.
Those are all good options, but today, I'm going a different way.
Yesterday, Breyer released a sneak peek of one of the 2026 Premier Club horses.
If that looks familiar, there's a reason. That's a Karen Gerhardt Danzante resin.I have one in my own collection.
Another meaning of evergreen is to stay fresh, relevant, and popular indefinitely, like an evergreen tree that keeps its leaves year-round. It describes things that remain useful and appealing over time, without being outdated... kind of like a model that was sculpted in 2006 becoming a Breyer in 2026!
Congratulations, Karen on your new/old addition to the Breyer line-up. She - and you! - are definitely evergreen.

Your option is the best, and the most heart-warming.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you appreciate your resin Danzante becoming an OF. I know some people who aren’t very happy about that. Personally, I think the mold is stunning.
ReplyDeleteAnd I’m excited to get one!
