Even though I've lived in Colorado for more than twenty five years, I still have a lot of family in California. This includes biological family like my Mom and sister, but also found family, which includes best-neighbors-ever, Nick and Joyce...

and hobby friends, Corina...

and Tara.

I wasn't able to connect with Corina on my most recent trip, but Tara drove out to Altadena at 6 AM so we could have breakfast together. A true friend.

Today is her birthday.

It's also the day I had the idea that turned into NaMoPaiMo.

And NaMoPaiMo is how I met Tara.

Fate or just a fun coincidence? I don't know, but it's awesome either way. Happy birthday, Tara. Happy conception day, NaMoPaiMo!
