Sage is a sweet, brave, willing horse, but she's also a four year old, with the attention span of a four year old.
I wanted her to enjoy the barn's scavenger hunt, so I kept our photo shoots short. As soon as I got a picture I thought would work, we called it good. If it turned out we didn't get that picture, then we tried again another day.
Except in the case of Something Inflated, Angelo's animals were too good to limit to one short session. Of course, we had to take more photos.
But not right away. We let Sage have a break while Karen's Kaffi took his turn in front of the camera.
Despite having extremely flappy lips, Kaffi is as unflappable as Sage.None of this bothered him at all.
Back to Sage!
I somehow I got it in my head that wearing a five foot inflatable zebra was an important step on the way to being ridden.
I rubbed the zebra against her neck and shoulders.
She did not care.
Then Karen swooped in...
and placed the zebra on her back.
There was a small protest.
Mostly, she just wanted to go eat.
"I'll put up with anything as long as food is involved."
Another winning picture. This was so funny and also so much fun.
Thank you, Angelo, Karen, Kaffi and especially Sage. Of all the scavenger hunt photo shoots, I think this was my favorite.

OMG -I want that zebra! I almost bought a 6' gorilla sprinkler a couple of years ago but I just couldn't justify the price... I've regretted it ever since!
