The graduation

My younger son, James, was a member of the high school class of 2020.

In case you've somehow forgotten, that was the worst year ever.
Or at least the worst year to be a high school graduate.
Instead of a graduation, he got a car parade.
It was actually pretty fun.
But still, I missed having an traditional ceremony.
Sigh.
This morning, Seth, Carol, Ryan, Sarah and I got up ridiculously early and drove to Fort Collins in the predawn light.
Our destination was Colorado State University
The occasion, James' graduation.
This was not a car parade.
This was a real ceremony, with lots of people...
and all the pomp and ceremony that comes with it.
Also, two diplomas because that's how he rolls.
In case you're wondering that's one for Chemical and Biological Engineering and another for Biomedical Engineering.
This was such a good day.
I have never enjoyed a graduation more.
Congratulations, James.
We could not be more proud of you.
