Descanso Gardens

Last year, when my sister and I needed a place to walk and unwind, my friend, Tara, suggested Descanso Gardens. We didn't make it. It was a bit too far from where my mother was staying, but I made a mental note, for future reference.

This week, Ryan and I needed a place to walk and unwind, and as luck would have it, the place where Mom was staying this time was less than a mile from Descanso Gardens. We went, we walked, we drank a beer and we took lots and lots of photos. Thanks for the recommendation, Tara. That was perfect.
