May has been - and continues to be - an incredibly busy month.
I knew it was going to be like this, so instead of bringing Sage home right away, I chose to leave her at Wild Horse Outreach and Advocacy (WHOA) for an additional month of training.
Stefanie asked me to give her a list of things I'd like her to work on during this time.I said, "Trailer loading, trailer loading, trailer loading."Stefanie has done a really good job of keeping me up to date as to Sage's progress.About a week ago, Seth and I made a return trip to Guffey.
I watched Stefanie work with her both in...
and out of the ring.
For a young horse who was completely unhandled as recently as last December, she is surprisingly solid. It was fun seeing her handle new...
and "old" challenges.
So cute!!!
I know it will be different when she's in a less structured environment, but I really feel like she is ready to do all the things.
I can't wait to do them with her.
And yes, that includes getting on the trailer.Good girl, Sage.
We are going to have so much fun together.
Can it be June already?
May has been all the things, but I am looking forward to a quieter month filled with Sage.

Sage looks to be a smart kind red mare, she is going to be a joy for you. I got my red mare at 2 and she has been the best. Looking forward to seeing your journey.
