My smart phone is pretty good at identifying dog breeds.
Pretty good, not perfect.
Why would the phone be any different? But anyway. A couple weeks ago, I was taking pictures of one of the new foals and I saw the identifier feature light up. Curious as to what kind of mammal my phone thought I was looking it, I tapped the word.
Moose or White Rhinoceros! I was delighted.
Then - of course! - I had to try this with more horse photos.Kaffi is a tapir and Winslow is either a Gemsbok or an Oryx,
a Dromedary or a Llama,
a Lion or a Black-tailed Prairie Dog,
or, perhaps, an Odocolieus or a White-tailed Deer.
Scrolling back further, the phone had no trouble identifying Olive as a horse from the front or side. The ears view was a little more problematic.
Kangaroo!
So far, all my pictures of Sage - even those taken at awkward angles - are identifiably horse.

I'm sure that will change when I have more pictures of her in my library. I can't wait to see what her alternative mammal identity will be!

Lol, what a fun game!
