Mother's Day was complicated this year, but I did have a nice visit with Ryan and Sarah, who came bearing horse shaped gifts.
After that exchange, we went to the barn for an evening horse walk.
and walked around the pond.
Somewhere along the way, I decided that Piper should ride Winslow.
Success!
Well, sort of.
We tried again, this time with Ryan doing the dirty work.

ReplyDeleteWhat a horse Winslow is. He seemed to be completely unfazed with attempted doggie photos. Sorry you continue to be in the midlife doldrums. It’s such a hard time. Just keep looking for the bright spots and keep on going. Many of us are walking in the sad times too, each of our journeys is our own but I do find comfort in knowing I am not alone in these difficult times. Thank you for sharing.
