Two pony parties

Friday evening, Heather and I picked our favorite part-time Coloradan, Julia, and drove a couple hours north to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

We checked into a hotel filled with horsey art...
and had a fun slumber party under the watchful gaze of this eyeless horse.
The next morning, we woke up bright and early, ate our free breakfast and headed over to Archer M Building at the Laramie County Fairgrounds.
There I spent a long but fun day with so many of my favorite people,
so many of their favorite models...
and a surprising number of dinosaurs.
Yeah.
They were everywhere.
Today, I got up a little less bright and early and headed over to the barn for our semiannual potluck and desensitizing fun day.
The ring was filled with obstacles,
most of which Olive did not approve of.
Nevertheless, it was another fun day, filled with horses,
friends, dogs...
I am tired, sunburned and have a million photos to edit. Still, I am not complaining. Every weekend should include two pony parties!
