In the last years, we have painted a lot of models during NaMoPaiMo.
So many.
At this point it's just inevitable that at any big show, there will be at least a few February ponies on the tables. Here are some of the ones I spotted during the Jurassic Classic, starting with a model from way back in 2017. This lovely little man is a Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig Fritz, customized by Kylee Parks and painted by Zoe Antrobus. I don't know who he belongs to, but I was delighted to see him on the show table.
Hailing from the Class of 2022, this is Heather Bullach's Barely Jolie. She is now proudly owned by Lara Heidkamp.
Onto to 2023! There were several horses from the International Painting Party year, including Randi Wood's Akhal Teke,
Eleanor Hightower's lovely little foal,
and Caroline Spracklin's tiny Saddlebred.
Caroline also showed her 2024 horse, Voluspa, who was both Breed and Workmanship Champion of the Mini Artist Resin Pony section.
I absolutely love this little girl.
Speaking of love, it was so nice to see Jes Michaels' big Spanish boy in person.
Although not officially members of the Class of 2024, I was also really happy to see Hanna Wangsgaard's gorgeous Plan B Levi...
and Candace Anderson's, done but not in February, custom Emerson.
Thank you so much to everyone who brought a NaMoPaiMo horse to Jurassic Classic. I love seeing them - and you! - so much.
