The official name of Saturday's plastic pony party was the Jurassic Classic Model Horse Show.

Held by the Annas - Miller and Kerns - this big show boasted no less than eighteen divisions: OF Breyer: 2,000 and Less, Breed and Collectibility, OF Breyer: 2,001 and More, Breed and Collectibility, OF Peter Stone, Breed and Collectibility, OF Mini, Breed and Collectibility, Artist Resin, Breed and Collectibility, Mini Artist Resin, Breed and Workmanship, Custom, Breed and Workmanship, Custom, Breed and Workmanship, Youth and Dinosaur Performance.

Officially, I was there to judge Dinosaur Performance, which was awesome.
I also ended up judging the Artist Resin Breed and Mini Artist Resin Breed divisions.
This was equal parts wonderful and exhausting.
My part aside, the show was an extremely well run and well attended show with entrants hailing from Colorado, California, Montana, Utah and Illinois.

Prizes included satin ribbons, first through third, with rosettes to the champions,
larger flats and gold dinosaurs to the sectional champions and reserves...
and custom halters to the Overall Champions and Reserves.
There were also some fun door prizes...
and a good raffle and silent auction.
I won the Mushu, who was donated by Heather. Thank you, my friend. I can never have enough Mushu.
Overall, this was a really fun show. I'm really glad I went, and I am already looking forward to next year's edition. Thank you, Annas!
