Dog and Pony prep, part eight

After Dover closed, I expected a few things to happen, but not right away. Accordingly, I was happy to bide my time, ride my horse and prepare my entries for Karin's Dog and Pony Show.
Evenually, all the things I thought would happen did, but not in ways that I expected.
Also, not in ways that were advantageous to me.
After a not-so-brief period of mourning, I moved on Plans B and C.
This was - and continues to be - a hard time for me. I'm still going to the barn every day because that's what I do, but all my other fun projects have gone to the wayside, as I pick up and reorganize the pieces of my life.
Whatever creative energy I have - and it isn't much - has been funneled into Sage's Halloween costume.
At this point, that's nearly done.
So I started thinking about the show again, and I realized... it's only ten days away.
Don't get me wrong. I can get a lot done in ten days.
But this ten days, with everything so up in the air? Literally, all outcomes are possible. Wish me luck. I'm probably going to need it!

    1. I fear I have not followed through on a lot of my best ideas. It is what it is.
