After a winter that didn't even feel like winter...
we're experiencing a very summer-like spring.
But it's still Colorado.Which means, this happens.
The horses knew it was coming.
Everyone was wild during turnout yesterday.Especially Sage.
She stayed with me after I took her halter off, hoping for treats. When the supply was gone, she politelly turned away from me, walked a few steps and then took off.
"See ya later, Mom!"
"I've got some running to do!"
She ran...and she ran...
and she ran.
Because I didn't want to get run over, I stayed outside of the pasture.
Every couple of laps, Sage came over to check in with me.
"Hi, Mom!""Got treats?"
Sometimes I did, sometimes I didn't.
Either way, they were short visits.
Girlfriend had some running to do!

That first Sage photo is like a famous painting, or maybe a model horse. I really like it!
ReplyDeleteYes I'm delighted to see pony-photo-saturation swing back by again, storm or no.
