April fools

Well, it's April's Fools Day.

For more than four hundred years...

this has been a day for bad jokes, 

mean pranks,

weird art...

and all kinds of chaos.

All day long, my social media feeds have been filled with mischief.

both real...

and model horse related.

These are pretend...

but you actually buy this if you really want to.

This, too, if you were fast.

Some of the jokes are pretty funny.

Heh.

Today is also the birthday of three people I care a lot about: Sue Rowe who is one of the model horse hobby's first good tackmakers and also, Tara Reich's mother,

my barn owner, Linda...

and my father-in-law, Tom Buxton.

My brother-in-law, Jason, is in town for the occasion, and surprisingly, this morning's birthday festivities included a trip to the barn.

I was delighted to get a chance to photograph the three Buxton men with Sage.

Sage was delighted, too!
