Maybe the Hartland Lone Ranger and Silver would be in my shopping basket. I remember those Marx Marvel the Mustang riding ponies. (Too old to have one but I remember them as an older child.)
Yikes!! Doesn't look like there was much to choose from!! What happened to the Breyer's that you showed earlier?? I like Schleich's --so if those were Schleich's in the 1st and 11th photos, I may have grabbed those!! I also liked the white horse in the 13th photo. I also collect Hartlands, so may have given them the once over! Am disappointed that there were no china's there!! Everything else looks like it was designed/aimed at children!! (Yeah!! I'm past the stage of "my little ponies" and plushies!!) If this is all they had, I might have felt a little disappointed!! You mean there were no Breyer or Peter STONE vendors there??!! What a missed opportunity for them!!
Like I said in an earlier post, this was a big swap meet for collectors and resellers of toys and dolls. There weren't any manufacturers present. I actually thought the offerings were pretty good, but then, I wasn't expecting to find anything too valuable.
I would have taken home… too many HSO, such as the cute ceramic donkey, the Hartlands, the Barbie Winter Ride set, maybe the colourful Fashion Star Fillies, the plushie with Native American tack… Fortunately my space and budget is restricted… I already have a big enough toy horse collection which I‘m trying to downsize. Greetings from Germany! - Doreen
Definitely the Corgi Circus set, the hard to find, mostly unknown as Hartlands pair in the 5th photo, and the painted metal Lippizaner/Liberty horse in the 13th picture.
This post really 'takes you there' and gives me a far better idea of the whole thing. If I'd still been living on the Front Range I'd've participated!! Lawsie if my fav isn't that MLP-like creeter with the turquoise hair and purple feet. Also the (metal?) Lippizaner on a metal plinth, and the 10c ($?) bag of who knows what (third pic). Lynn should get the whole Corgi circus case, that's a find. Horses as dolls is where it all began for me.
The stuffie with the fancy tack- probably. The Corgi circus set- absolutely! (Cos I would be getting it for Lynn) And possibly the Montgomery Ward wagon with the knockoff FAS stablemate.

The plushie with native tack was another one that really tempted me. He was very cute.
DeleteI understand the temptation - it is an outstanding plushie and a gorgeous eyecatcher.
