Back in the doghouse

Earlier this month, I marked the anniversary of Darcy's death with a series of dog posts. The first was mostly about her.

Mostly, but not entirely.

I also talked about some of the other dogs I was missing that day.

That led to three posts about the three dogs of my childhood: Jock,

Megan...

and Sally.

After Sally's post, I thought I was done. 

After all, the next two dogs, Abbie and Maggie, were still with me during the early years of this blog.

I'd written about them while they were alive.

And also, when they weren't.

I didn't think I needed to write about them again, at least not at this time.

To be honest, it hadn't even occurred to me.

Well, it occurred to other people.

I have been gently pressured to keep going with the historical dog posts.

I promise I'll circle back to horses eventually, but for now, the Braymere blog is back in the doghouse.
