January was the longest, hardest, saddest month of my entire life.
February has been better.Cold, busy and still sad.But definitely better. In addition to spending time with Winslow, I have been horse shopping on the weekends. That seems like it should be fun - and parts of it are - but it's also complicated, time consuming and stressful.
So much cold.My non-horse life has also been busy. Seth had a birthday, Ryan's cat had an expensive surgery and James has just been expensive.
I asked my boss for more hours, and boy, did she deliver. Mixed blessings.
In the midst of all of this, I've also been painting a model...
and administering NaMoPaiMo.Truth be told, I'm doing better on the former than than the latter. My horse is nearly done, and I actually do like him. While I'm doing a decent job of monitoring the Facebook page and making Winners' Circle collages...
I just haven't been able to keep up on the blog front.
Sorry, friends and fellow painters. My spirit is willing, but my body is old, tired and still a little bit depressed. I just can't keep all the balls in the air anymore. That said, it's almost the end of the month, and I really want to do better. No promises, but maybe tomorrow I will have a NaMoPaiMo post or three. We'll see...

Grateful for every post. You have a life, and we're grateful for that too. Best of luck in all the endeavours.
