Winslow is a sweet, uncomplicated horse who gets along with everyone, human and equine alike. He probably would have been just fine if I had thrown him out in the gelding field on day one. Alas, I am just a bit too cautious for that. He spent a week getting to know Kaffi over the fence, then another week being turned out with him. This week - finally! - I let him accompany Kaffi into the field. It went every bit as well as I had expected, and he is now a proud member of the current generation Hooligans. Here are a few (!) pictures of Winslow living his best life in Boyville.

ReplyDeleteHe's always been such an easygoing boy, especially with other horses! He was always top of the pecking order in my herd, but I called him the "kind and gentle ruler".
