Real horses are whiskery.
They have whiskers around their eyes and all over their muzzles.
Sometimes they even have whiskers growing out of the middle of their cheeks. Why, Olive, why?
Model horses are not whiskery.
Oh, lots of them have whisker bumps.
So many.
But actual whiskers?
Not so much.Until now.
This amazing Jacobus resin was sculpted by Kylee Parks and finished by Maria Widstrom.
He is painted in oils, with pastel and acrylic detailing.
No details were spared. He is stunning. But here's the thing that makes him really special: Eyelashes...

ReplyDeleteThat’s awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow! You can already get your resins to have magnetized different manes and tails--and now--this!!! *Fantastic*!!
ReplyDeleteHow soon(and what do you wanna bet?) that the next step in the realism scale is the models to move in "stop action"??
The bar has been raised! I don't know how much further it could go...
