It's true: No matter how old I am, I am always going to want a pony for Christmas.
This year, I specifically want this pony.
Although, I would be nearly as happy with any of his equally wonderful brothers.
Originally released as a micro mini, Merry is a traditional scale Welsh section A pony sculpted by Maggie Bennett.
The first - and so far only - copies of Merry were sent to Mindy Berg who painted them in a rainbow of colors.
In addition to that glorious, roany Appaloosa...
there's a smoky black,a light dapple grey,
a bay,
a palomino,
a buckskin...
and a flaxen chestnut.
What an amazingly beautiful herd!
And what a fantastic way to debut a new resin release!
Merry will eventually be available unpainted, but not for many months.
The only way to get a Merry for Christmas is to buy one of Mindy's beauties.
The other six will be sold first come first serve December 5 on Mindy's website.Congratulations, Maggie and Mindy, on a stellar holiday offering.
Truly, these are the Christmas ponies every horse girl dreams of!
