Friday favorites

There are few things I love more than a really well done model horse photo.

And because I also love traveling, I especially love pictures of model horses in far-flung places.
Is that a model horse in front of Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle in France? Yes, in fact it is!
This hobby has its share of really good photographers, but no one is better at models in the water, models in the mountains and models in front of castles than Belgian artist, Ruru Cold, shown here at la Grand Place de Bruxelles (Belgium).
Together with her friends, Ruru has photographed her models in locations all over France, where she currently lives.
ClĂ©mentine, Ruru and Sabrina
She is an absolutely fearless photographer who will do just about anything to get the perfect photo.
This includes - but is not limited to - throwing rocks at her expensive horses!
These photos are worth the risk.
I mean come on. How is this not a real horse?
And this picture here, which was taken at Grand Place in Brussels...  Well, this one is absolutely perfect.
I could look at Ruru's photos every day, and next year, I will do just that. Earlier today, I preordered two copies of her beautiful 2024 model horse calendar.
Thank you, Ruru, for sharing your amazing photos with all of us in this way. I hope your calendar is a huge success!
