Breyer's 2023 catalog arrived last week.
At the time, I was too busy to savor it properly, so I set it aside for later.
Today was later.
As always, my main interests are traditional scale model horses...and traditional scale stuff.
I found both of those things...
and also, so much more.
Honestly, I'm not particularly interested in some of it.
Although, huh. Who would have thought that the old Clydesdale mare and foal would look so good as purple unicorns? Here's a horse book for my reading list...and a puzzle - not the unicorn one! - I'd like to put together.
It was fun to finally see Karen Gerhardt's old/new Christmas ornament.
I also enjoyed the blurb about BreyerFest (such a fun theme!)...
and the sneak peeks for the Premier and Stablmates Clubs. Wow! Those are wonderful!
Even after all these years, I still love receiving a Breyer catalog in the mail.
It connects me to my younger self, the one who spent hours poring over tiny box catalogs and dreaming of all the horses - real and plastic - I would own someday. Thank you, Breyer. Please keep sending me these forever and ever.
