Happy Horsing Around results

Aside from writing about them on my blog, I really haven't done anything with my model horses for months. That's fine, I've been really busy, but also, I miss it. Last week, I felt the need to play a little, so I last minute entered a bunch of pictures in the monthly Happy Horsing Around Show on Facebook.
I'm so glad I did. Results came in yesterday, and I won six classes. These included the combined Original Finish class,
the combined custom and resin class...
and the Tennessee Walker specialty class.
In the performance division, Team Braymere claimed the blue ribbons in Western or English Equitation,
Mishaps at the Horse Show: Anything Goes...
and Barnyard Fun: Anything Goes.
Other good placings included Hawkward in Schooling Shows, Clinics, Demonstrations, etc,
Dun Up Purdy in Extreme Cowboy Competition,
Ravenwoods Lindsay in the combined Original Finish class...
and the whole Animal Farm gang in Barnyard Fun: Anything Goes.
Thank you to judge Elaine Lindelef for all the good placings. This was very motivating. Even though this month is ridiculously busy, I am going to try my best to take some new photos for the August show.

  1. Your entries were lovely and I was honored to get to judge them. This show series is small but it is very competitive. The prompts vary each month and you can enter as novice, intermediate, or advanced. Winning photos are added to an album for an end of year show and sit out the rest of the year, kind of like a Medal class. I loved seeing all the creative entries and it makes me excited to try to get some new images.
