Similarly, after weeks of preparation, Seth's parents have decided to stay in Texas. They might still end up here eventually, but not this month.

There are some mixed feelings, but mostly, I feel like I have been set free.

I have never been so happy to lean into my normal routine of family, work, dogs and Olive.

I do have one more big event on my calendar, but it's still a couple weeks away.

Maybe - just maybe - I'll find some time to work on hobby projects.

I really don't know what will happen next, but I know what's not happening, and for tonight, that's enough.
