August 5

I published forty seven posts in July. Even by my standards that's a lot. 

Now, here we are five days into August, and I have yet to write a single post.

Sometimes it's like that.

In my defense, life has been... kind of overwhelming.

This month has already been filled with work stress,

pet stress,

jury duty stress...

and mostly, family stress. Seth's parents are moving from Texas to a senior living community near us. No one expected that to be easy, but it's been so much more complicated and difficult than any one could have anticipated... and they're still in Texas.

Depending on how next Tuesday goes, things will either get a lot easier or a lot more stressful. Wish me luck.

In the meantime, I promise I will try not to neglect this space.

It probably won't be a forty seven post month, but anything is better than nothing, right?
