Tracy's BCC entry

Although my hardcore collecting days are mostly behind me, there are still a few things I'd like to add to my collection. One of these is a traditional scale piece by Tracy Calamar. I have been looking for a Tracy horse for years. Sadly they are few and far between and rarely exchange hands. New pieces by Tracy are even scarcer. With two young children, a new puppy and a young horse, there just aren't enough hours in the day. Most of Tracy's current work is limited to medallions.

I like medallions, especially ones that look like this.

Still, my heart is with the big guys, so I was ridiculously excited to see Tracy's 2023 BreyerFest Best Customs Contest entry.
Tracy writes: I am so incredibly proud that I persevered with finishing my first traditional scale paintjob in many years for the 2023 Breyer Best Customs Contest in the finish work category! I wouldn't have been able to finish without the amazing support of great friends, and that is why this hobby is wonderful in so many ways.
This is Greyt Expecneightions, aka GREYVY! He's an Anamar painted in acrylics to give him a very fine faux hair texture look.
Needless to say, I am obsessed. Congratulations, Tracy, on your triumphant return to traditional scale painting. Greyt Expecneightions is stunning. Good luck to both of you at BreyerFest!
