Angelo's hobby room

I know I said I was tired, and I wasn't going to post again today. That was not hyperbole. I was really tired. I did not plan to write another post. I didn't plan to do anything.

But then I did. Happy Juneteenth!

Before we went out to lunch, Fabian, Angelo and I spent some time at Angelo's condo. We met her newest pets...

and hung in her beautiful new hobby room.

Piper came, too.

And, of course, Angelo's dogs were there.

We spent some time oohing and aahing over Angelo's newest purchases...

and newest creations.

I love this so much.

I said hi to Gallo del Cielo...

and played with Angelo's alligators.

Multiple alligators, multiple scales.

Angelo says alligators are her favorite animals, even more than horses. Some people, right?

Perhaps my favorite part of the hobby room tour was the top shelf conga of Barbie horses.

When I asked about them, Angelo told me that when she was a little girl in Croatia, she wanted horses, but her mother gave her Barbies. Eventually, she found a girl with the opposite problem, so they traded. The original Barbie herd didn't survive, but every time Angelo sees one at a thrift shop, she rescues it.

This one was one of her first customs.

I love that, and I love Angelo's hobby room. I can't wait to visit it again. But not today. I really am tired. This time I mean it.
