Chaos

The last couple days have been utter and complete chaos. 

Thanks to our hard work on Wednesday the water mitigation company's giant fans and dehumidifiers, the basement is mostly dry.

Unfortunately, we've discovered asbestos in the texture on our walls. We can not move forward with repairs until that has been removed and remediated. In the meantime, Ryan is staying with a friend, and the rest of our house looks like this.

Work has also been chaotic.

Have you ever worked a tent sale in a windstorm? 

It's pure chaos. 

"Hi, welcome to Dover. Everything in this area is buy one get...Whoops! It all just blew away again! Gotta go it down!"

It's been fun - I definitely needed the distraction - but it's also been exhausting. I am looking forward to fewer and more regular work hours next week.

This bring us to chaos item number three: BreyerFest.  

I know I said I wasn't going, but the universe has decided otherwise. Putting together a BreyerFest trip this late in the game has been stressful and, well, chaotic. It's okay. It will be worth it. That's what I keep telling myself each day as I deal with the chaos.
