Anna Tackett's sweet girl, Lizzie, passed away earlier this year.
She left behind a costume wardrobe fit for a princess... specifically a small, floofy, white princess.
The costumes arrived last week. They were so cute, I just had to share them. I asked Angelo if she would bring Archie and Soot over for a play date/costume party. Of course she said yes.
Piper modeled each costume first. She really like the Santa outfit. The Halloween dress and hat were less well received.
"Why do you do this to me, Mama?"Soot had a very similar reaction to the Halloween costume.
But that was nothing compared to how he felt about the St Patrick's Day hat.
Archie says, "Seriously, Soot, it's no big deal."
Joking aside, all the dogs were so well behaved. They were very cooperative and got along really well.
When I drove Angelo home at the end of the day, all three little dogs sat on her lap together.
Friends.
After we dropped them off, Piper looked at me and smiled. I swear the invisible thought bubble over her head read, "That was fun, Mama. We should do it again soon."
I agree, Piper. That really was fun. Thank you so much, Anna and Lizzie. The costumes are perfect and will get lots of use here. Thank you also to Angelo, Archie and Soot. We really should do it again soon.

I've tried to explain to people that model horses are a hobby where, yeah, you can get toys, or you can get a fine-art quality sculpture at Tractor Supply for like $45.
