Big and little

I like "portrait tack" almost as much as I like portrait models.  
I wish I had realized there was padding on the cheekpieces, but still...  pretty cool!

    I'd love to know how you make the padding. What width do you use? Do you fold the edges or just finish them?

    The padding is skiver, which has been skived to a paper think consistency and dyed blue. It's folded over on itself and glued in place on the bottom of the strap.

    Thanks for the tip! Skiving skiver must be tricky but its softness would make it easy to fold for nice edges.
