The best thing - perhaps the only good thing - about working at a store in liquidation is the deals.
The deals are really, really, really good.
This comes in handy when you decide you want to dress your red mustang...like Denver' famous Blue Mustang.
Over the course of the summer, I bought a ridiculous amount of royal blue tack, most of which has been riding around in the back seat of my car ever since.

Sage has never been zipped into a hood, but I assumed it wouldn't bother her.
It didn't.
What I did not expect was a fit issue. Sage is a 14.3 hand hony with a little pea head that is almost too small for most cob sized halters and bridles. And yet, somehow this medium sized hood can not stretch enough to cover her face. I would return it, but you know...
Fortunately, the sheet - a 74" for anyone keeping track - fit just fine.
Red mustang turning Blue.
Now that I know what works and what does not, I can move on to the fun part of this project: shopping and customizing.
Will Sage make a convincing Blucifer?
Only time will tell!
