February

It happens every year. Someone makes a post in the NaMoPaiMo Facebook group wishing that NaMoPaiMo would be held sometime - anytime! - but February.

I get it. It's a short month...

the weather can be a problematic.

Although - how many times do I have to post this video?! - there are workarounds for that.

but, as Shauna demonstrates, not an insurmountable problem

Still, changing NaMoPaiMo to another month is something that is never, ever going to happen, at least not while I'm at the helm.

February has always been a tough month for me. 

One of the main reasons NaMoPaiMo exists is to get me through February.

Most years, that works pretty well. 

Most years, but not this year, at least not so far.

For whatever reason - and there are several - I have been struggling. With my model, with blogging and life February in general.

Yesterday was really hard, but it was also the first day of the Lunar New Year.

Today was better.

I think I'm ready to get back in the saddle, with NaMoPaiMo and everything else.
