But when I say everyone, what I really mean is humans.

Because art made by artificial intelligence isn't really art at all.

As AI gets more and more sophisticated, it can be difficult to tell if something is real or fake. To make things just a little easier real horse color guru, Lesli Kathman shared three safe, no-AI-here sites for horse color reference photos. The first is her own blog, which has almost fifteen years of reference photos, most of which were taken by her and are pretty high resolution.
This is her older site, which still hosts her archives. These are slowly being moved to the other location, but for now, there's a lot of good content here.
Finally here's a wonderful list of references from Lesli's studio blog. This was specifically compiled to give artists a lot of AI-free resource options.
Of course, it goes without saying that except in a few, clearly marked instances all the pictures on this blog are also real photos taken by real humans, usually me.

Just when I could use some real color references, this comes along. Very useful, thank you all!
