Sage waffles

Late December/early January is reveal season.

For the last several weeks, Breyer has been unveiling their 2026 line-up, one tantalizing image at a time.

It's so much fun seeing all the new horses: the regular runs,

the special runs...

and the club models.

For me, the most interesting are the Premier Club models.

This year's offerings include Carmen by Karen Gerhardt,

Georgina by Jennifer Scott...

and Waffles and Flapjacks by Lauren Skillern.

The pony, Waffles, was introduced first.

However, he was quickly upstaged by his long-eared friend.

I get it. The donkey is cute.

But for me, 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse Shetland Pony. Specifically, this Shetland Pony.

I didn't join any clubs this year, but I will definitely be looking to add a body quality Waffles to my collection. S/he's going to look great in rabicano!
