The mountains are calling

I love mountains. 

Seth does, too.

That's one of the reasons we live in Colorado.

Every year we try to spend at least one weekend together in the mountains.

Last year, it didn't happen.

We went on day trips to Guffey,

Breckenridge...

and Pine...

but there were no mountain overnights.

To be fair, that was a hard year.

I am determined to make 2026 better. 

To that end, Seth, Piper and I are heading up to Estes Park this afternoon for a couple days of frozen mountain fun.

Emma...

and Sage will be cared for by their Auntie Carol.

Fun fact, Carol was willing to watch Piper, too, but Seth paid extra for a dog friendly cabin. That man loves his little Pipedog.
