Manely Olive

Earlier this month, I wrote a post that needed a picture of Olive in her hackamore.

This is the one I went with.

It was taken in April 2023, before the incident that broke that cool swoopy crownpiece.

Now it's just a single strap. Sigh.

But that's not what this post is about.

As I was looking at those pictures, I couldn't help but notice her mane.

Was it ever really that scraggly?

I kind of vaguely knew it had gotten longer, but somehow I hadn't realized the extent.

Now it's all I see.
