Six days later, bridle giveaway

The hard year continues to be hard. Sometimes, I can blog through my troubles. Other times, it's just too overwhelming. Last week was one of the overwhelming ones. Sorry.

In the midst of all the crises, I received an unexpected and very well timed box from Tiffany.
Inside I found three real bridles that Tiffany had bought for, but never used on, her beloved mare, Sassy.
Of course, I couldn't wait to take them out to the barn and try them on Olive.
She seemed a little surprised to be wearing a bit after all this time, but settled quickly and (mostly) posed nicely.
Mostly.
The pink and black and black bridle was a perfect fit, and so was this all black number.
Oh, Olive. You look so beautiful!
Unfortunately, the same could not be said for bridle number three.
I thought about altering it, but let's be honest. Olive probably has enough bridles.
So I've decided to give it away. This is a cob sized, full scale, snaffle bridle with a crank noseband and built in flash attachment. It comes with reins but without a bit. The raffle is not limited to horse owners. If you're a tack maker who wants a piece for your reference collection or just someone who would like to have a pretty bridle on your wall, it's all the same to me.
The usual rules apply: Every comment left on this blog will equal one raffle entry. Old post, new post, multiple posts, it just doesn't matter, but if you're posting anonymously, be sure to include your name. Postage is free in the United States. If you're overseas, I'm probably going to ask for a little help with shippng. I'll choose the winner on Thursday, August 1. Good luck, everyone!

  15. Olive looks beautiful in that pink and black bridle! Well, really she pulls them all off but that one is especially flattering. My daughter and I are riding a horse whose color is purple. It would be fun to try a purple padded bridle on her!

  19. Love Olive's wardrobe! 💗. I'm entering because it's purple and I love purple (my Mom's casket was purple). So when I hit the lottery and get my own real horse, I'll have a purple bridle for him/her. Can't figure out how to sign in, so here I am. Teresa Fedak

  22. I love the purple bridle. I am trying to put together a purple set for my horse, but haven’t been able to justify a new bridle when I have and old one that fits him.
