Mother's Day

It's hard this year.

Seth's mother passed away in March, just seven months after a complicated and contentious move to an assisted living community in Denver. Earlier this month, my own mother also moved into assisted living. I wish I could say it was going well, but that is very much not the case. If I'm not back in California before the start of summer, it will be a miracle.

So, yeah. Mother's Day is hard this year.
