But first, chicken feet

A little over a month ago, Facebook showed me a sponsored ad for "Funny Soft Equine Feet Ornaments." I laughed and made it into a post, because yeah, that is something I would totally buy.

Of course, a few minutes later, I did buy them.

I ordered what I thought was two pairs, so that Olive and Kaffi could pose like the horses on the website.

Ha ha. The joke was on me. What I got was actually two chicken feet. No wonder they were so cheap!

I took them out to the barn straightaway and put them on Olive.

She gave them a good look or three...

but was mostly unimpressed.

Thank Facebook algorithm for that inspired bit of marketing. I would have never guessed how much Olive - and I - needed a pair of chicken feet!
