T. rex head

Summer is barn beer season. Every so often, Seth and I and whoever else happens to be around heads to the barn after work and has a beer with Olive.

Sometimes we take her for a walk.

Other times we play in the ring.

Either way, it's always fun.

The most recent barn beer evening was a full house with both Ryan and James and Ryan's girlfriend, Sarah.

During the course of this evening, Sarah shared that horses with dished faces look friendly,

but horses with heads like Olive's remind her of a T. rex.

That's why Olive is so scary.

Now I think Olive has an extremely cute and friendly face, so I would have been offended on her behalf, except I could not stop laughing long enough to muster the required indignation. Sorry, Olive. 

In the time since then, I've thought about photoshopping a T. rex head onto Olive's body just to see what it would look like. It's been busy, and I haven't gotten around to it, and now I don't have to. Behold!
