Going Postal at Casa Bonita

After this year's BreyerWest, Jeni Lambert left her famous hobby mascot, Going Postal, in Colorado so that he could meet and take pictures with Fabian's Cisco... 

and my Olive.

After that, I was supposed to give him back to Fabian, who was going to send him back to Jeni. For various reasons, that didn't happened. Instead, Going Postal has spent the last several months hanging out with the Braymere gang in my basement. Whoops!

Early last week, I got a message from Jeni. I immediately assumed, she wanted to make travel arrangements for Going Postal.

It turns out I was only partly right.

Last week, Going Postal went to Casa Bonita.

He posed with Angelo in front of the waterfall.

Chomp!

He went into the mine.

He did some spelunking. 

He hung out with (possibly dead) miners.

He helped Black Bart break out of jail.

He raised the flag to order sopapillas.

He even rode...

and did battle with Casa Bonita's resident horse.

It was a perfect ending to Going Postal's time in Colorado.

He definitely earned that Colorado sticker.

Going Postal will be reunited with Jeni next week at BreyerFest. Safe travels, sweet boy. I'm sure we'll meet again.
