BreyerWest Friday

BreyerWest Friday is all about the Open Show. 

I'm not really feeling the live show thing these days, so I let Tiffany go without me and spent the morning with my best girl.

I also made time for a quick Ryan visit.

I'm always happy to see my kids, especially when they come bearing swords.

I ate a quick lunch, then drove across town to the National Western Stock Show Complex, BreyerWest's home since 2020.

When I got there, the show was in full swing.

I made a lap around the room and had nice conversations with so many of my favorite people.

Then Christie Richardson and I decided to go see the real horses.

The Expo seemed a lot smaller than it used to be, but there was still enough to keep us occupied for an hour or two.

We made it back to the show in time to see Heather win the Spirit Award...

and Tiffany win the Overall Performance Championship. 

After that, it was a bit of a slog to the end, but it was worth it to see the big volunteer model reveal.

We headed back to Aurora for dinner. The restaurant was busy, so we had to wait for a table. Heather passed the time petting Tiffany's coat.

Dinner was fabulous. How could it not be with all these wonderful people?

BreyerWest Friday was a long day, but a good day, and the best was yet to come.
